Keep your website safe and up to date

And preserve your work/life balance

Why Not Handover your Website Maintenance?

In the constantly changing world of the internet, it’s important that your website is maintained on a regular basis. Much like your Windows PCs or smartphones, websites need regular updates, performance monitoring and security checks. So, if you are running a WordPress website why not handover this routine maintenance to Wicked Spider and worry about one less thing.

Why do you Need Help to Maintain your Website?

When a website gets exploited it’s usually because something behind the scenes is out of date. By using the latest version of themes and plugins I can help minimise the risks to your website – and to your business. You must also make sure that WordPress itself is up to date. These updates will reduce the chances of your website being compromised – one thing less to worry about!

I imagine that you have spent a lot of time and money getting your business to where it is now. I understand that if you add managing your website to your already long list it may be overwhelming. Quite often we ignore those tasks that we don’t like doing. A monthly maintenance plan will reduce the need for any major repairs to your site in the future.

One of the main reasons people click away from a site is because it loads slowly. Of course, this means that you loose potential customers, sales and search engine rankings. Unsupported or outdated plugins play a major role in how well your website performs. Wicked Spider will check how your website is performing and let you know if anything needs addressing.

WordPress is constantly evolving into a better framework. Naturally, this is good for your website but it means that we need to keep an eye out for any conflicts or potential problems. Having your website checked regularly by Wicked Spider will help protect your investment and save you from having to pay for major fixes later down the line.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you fix my website if it's already broken?

Yes of course we can. We will look at your website to see what’s going on, then we will do our best to give you an approximate estimate of the cost of fixing any issues.

What if I haven't done any updates for months?

We will perform a free website audit for you. We will look for issues that are causing performance issues, security problems or anything else that is a putting your website at risk. If it has been a really long time since your website has been updated, it may require some major repairs. We will provide you with a report and a fixed price cost to get everything secure before we sign you up for a maintenance plan.

What if I have several websites?

The maintenance plans are per website. You will need a new plan for each website.

What happens if an update breaks my website?

The majority of issues will be fixed free of charge. If it is a major issue we will roll back your website to the state it was in before the update. However, if there is an overly time-consuming issue possibly introduced by user error or custom coding this will be billable. We will let you know if there are any additional charges before doing the work. You won’t get any nasty surprises.

Can I rollover any unused hours?

Unfortunately not. The time available in the plan you select must be used each month.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes, we provide a 30 day money back guarantee. If in any month you think you haven’t had the service outlined in your plan we will give you your money back. This in only offered for the current month – not previous months.

When do you perform updates?

Routine updates are performed once each month. When we are notified of an important security issue we will sort those immediately. We may wait a couple of weeks before updating WordPress or particularly themes while bugs are sorted out by the developers.

Do you provide 24/7 support?

No – I like to try and get my sleep too. My support hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.

What if a plugin is no longer supported?

On an ongoing basis, we will assess the situation and will advise you if or when a plugin is causing any problems to your site. At that point, we will let you know of a better alternative plugin and any related costs.

What payment options do I have?

We accept all major debit and credit cards. Payments will be automatically deducted each month.

What is your cancellation policy?

We do not enforce a minimum contract so you can cancel anytime you want.

How do you access my website?

We will ask you for the login details for your website, FTP account and web hosting account when you signup for a maintenance plan.
