How to Add or Edit Users in Google Analytics (GA4)
If you need to give someone access to your GA4 account — like a web designer, marketer, or internal team member — you’ll need to assign them the right role from within the Google Analytics admin settings.

  Steps to Add a New User in GA4:

1. Sign in to GA4 at https://analytics.google.com
2. Choose the account and property where you want to add the user
3. Click Admin (gear icon in the lower left corner)
4. Under the Account or Property column (depending on what level of access they need), click Access Management
5. Click the blue + in the top-right corner and select Add Users
6. Enter the email address of the person
7. Choose the appropriate permissions:

• Viewer – Read-only access
• Analyst – Can create reports
• Editor – Can make configuration changes (often used by web admins)
• Administrator – Full control, including adding/removing users

8. Click Add
   Tips:

• If unsure, give Editor access for someone managing setup or integrations
• Use Administrator only when you fully trust the user, as it gives them complete control
• You can remove or change access at any time using the same menu

How to Add an Admin to Google Search Console
To give someone admin access to your Google Search Console property, you must be a verified owner of the property. Then:

1. Go to Google Search Console at https://search.google.com/search-console and log in with your Google account
2. Select the correct website property you want to share access to
3. Click Settings in the left‑hand menu
4. Choose Users and permissions
5. Click the blue Add user button in the top right
6. Enter the person’s Google email address (must be a Google account)
7. Choose Full permission to grant admin‑level access
8. Click Add to save
   This will add them to your Search Console with admin‑level access. Only verified owners can add or manage users like this (support.google.com)
