Terms and Conditions for Website Optimisation

Last updated: 03 September 2024

1. Service Scope
Page Optimisation: This service includes the comprehensive on-page SEO optimisation of the five most important pages on your website for a one-time fee of £999.00. Pages will be selected based on their significance to your business goals, typically the homepage, key service pages, and any high-traffic pages.
Included Optimisation: The optimisation will cover keyword research, title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, content structure, internal linking, and overall content enhancement.

Website Speed Optimisation: We will optimise your website’s speed to the best of our ability. However, website speed is influenced by your hosting provider and website framework. While we will do everything we can to improve loading times, a significant speed boost may require better hosting or infrastructure, which we are happy to recommend if requested.

Additional Pages: If additional pages require optimisation beyond the initial five, this can be arranged at an extra cost of £199.00 per page.

2. Website Access
Login Information: To perform the optimisation, we will require full access to your website, including login credentials. This information should be provided promptly after booking to avoid delays.
Confidentiality: All login details and any sensitive information shared with us will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. We will not share your information with any third parties.

3. Payment Terms
Booking and Payment: The total fee for the "Optimise Your Website for Connection" service is £999.00, payable upfront. Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
No Refunds or Cancellations: Once payment is made and the booking is confirmed, no refunds or cancellations will be allowed. This policy is in place due to the immediate and customised nature of the work involved.

4. No Guarantee of Search Engine Rankings
Ranking Disclaimer: While we will implement industry best practices to enhance your website’s on-page SEO, we cannot and do not guarantee specific rankings on Google or any other search engines. SEO outcomes are influenced by numerous factors, many of which are outside our control, including algorithm changes and competitor actions.

Long-Term SEO: On-page SEO is just one part of a comprehensive SEO strategy. For best results, we recommend ongoing SEO practices, which can be arranged separately.

5. Client Responsibilities
Content Integrity: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the content provided on the website is accurate, up-to-date, and free from any legal issues (e.g., copyright infringement). Any content updates required as part of the optimisation will be based on the existing information provided.

Timely Communication: For the best possible outcome, we require prompt communication from the client, including access to necessary resources and approval of any suggested changes.

6. Website Use After Optimisation
Active Use: With your website optimised for connection, you now have a sharpened tool to use in your marketing efforts. However, to see the full benefits, your newly optimised website must be actively utilised in your marketing strategy, including driving traffic through various channels such as social media, advertising, and email marketing.

Ongoing Maintenance: For continued success, we recommend regularly updating your content and monitoring performance to ensure the optimisation remains effective.

7. Limitation of Liability
Service Limitation: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

Site Changes Post-Optimisation: We cannot be held responsible for any changes made to the website by the client or any third party after the optimisation process has been completed.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Data Protection: All client data, including login information, will be handled in accordance with GDPR regulations and our internal privacy policies. We ensure the security of your data and will not use it for any purpose other than performing the agreed-upon service.

9. Dispute Resolution
Resolution Process: Any disputes arising from this agreement will be handled in good faith through negotiation between both parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be referred to a neutral third party for mediation.

10. Governing Law
Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any legal actions or proceedings related to this agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Scotland.

Acceptance of Terms:
By booking the "Optimise Your Website for Connection" service, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined above. No refunds or cancellations are permitted once the booking is confirmed. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us before proceeding with your booking.
